Top 5 Books for Fertility

If you're thinking about starting a family or having another kiddo, you might be eager to learn more about how to best prep your body!

I’m going to be launching a preconception program SO SOON! (Join the waitlist here!) But in the meantime, I wanted to give you some ideas of books you can start reading if you just can't wait.

1. Taking Charge of Your Fertility

This book is one of my MOST recommended reads of all time. Not only for those trying to conceive, but for all women! It teaches you how to use the fertility awareness method to learn your cycle like the back of your hand and be confident in your fertility signs. This means you can use it to help prevent pregnancy, get pregnant, or just be more in tune with your body! There are even special sections dedicated to learning about what signs/symptoms may mean for particular health conditions, along with learning how to track your cycle in the postpartum and perimenopausal seasons of life.

I truly believe there is something for everyone in this book, so don't sleep on it! Get your copy here and you can thank us later.

2. It Starts With the Egg

This read is excellent if you want to know more about WHY the preconception period is so important! There is so much we can do to prepare our bodies for pregnancy to have the healthiest pregnancy and baby possible, and this may just give you the motivation to start doing those things right now. Buy it here or listen on audiobook while you go on your daily walks or drives!

3. Awakening Fertility

This book is unique because not only does it cover educational information on how to improve your fertility using nutrition, but it also has lots of recipes you can pull from to make nourishing, fertility-friendly meals. Check it out here!

4 & 5. Real Food for Pregnancy and Real Food for Mother and Baby

I put these two together because although they are both focused mostly on pregnancy, the same principles still apply to the preconception period as well. Real food is always best, and these books contain a TON of information on specific nutrients to prioritize while trying to conceive, pregnant, and postpartum. I hope this list was helpful as you start or continue with your fertility journey. And I'd love to know - are there any books you would add to this list? Comment below and tell me your favorites!
